Sandy Toes

We recently traveled to North Carolina for a visit with my husband's brother and their family. We had a wonderful time and I longed to move there every second of the visit. I really want my kids to grow up around family and its so nice to see them together getting to know each other. We had a wonderful time. I of course got everyone out to the beach for a photo session and these are the best ones from the evening. Getting a great family shot with five kids did not happen however my dream of getting the perfect sandy toed shot finally came true and its of my little Brody. I have come to realize my boys are not cut out for the group shot and they may never be until they are old enough to give into bribery at its finest, so until then I will try and capture all that I can for everyone else and my moment on film will come someday. I can't believe summer is coming to an end already.

Perfect Night to go with the Perfect Family

A friend referred this family to me and I was excited to meet them for an evening shoot. The weather was perfect and so were their children. Each one well behaved with great smiles. What more could a mother or photographer ask for? I hope they had as much fun as I did.

Sweet Baby Boy

I had the honor to shoot this little man in the comforts of his own home. His big sister is darling and so sweet to her new brother. I can't wait to watch them grow. Thanks to mom and dad for being so flexible and relaxed as we posed their new little creation in all kinds of places. Its all worth it in the end.

Three Times the Fun

When asked to capture these three little miracles milestone birthday I could not say yes fast enough. Even in the Texas heat they appeared perfect and content. Fun was had by all and I look forward to watching them grow along with their family.

The Powell Family
