Heather and Malachi

When one of my adorable fourth grade students mom called me to book a session, I got very excited because they are so cute. We decided on a local park and met today. The weather was perfect and we had fun taking pictures all over. We ended up going to a beautiful neighborhood across from the park and finished up there. It was so nice to see the mother son bond these two have. She should be very proud of her little man he is a super kid. I really enjoy Heather she is such a nice person and always has a smile on her face. I had a great time taking your pictures today hope you like them as much as I do.

Sarah

Sisters

Today was just beautiful and it was pleasure to photograph my cousin's daughters . I am emerged in a world of boys, even our dog is a male. I was very excited to see the shiny dresses and feathery bows come out of the car and onto the girls. Big sis just celebrated her birthday and in between DS sessions she managed to be a perfect model. Look at her big blue eyes! Little sis was only happy on her back or being held, so the best pics of her were just stunning. Mom wanted the perfect holiday card and I think she better look for one that has a collage. We shared a wonderful meal afterwards and talked mommy talk. We made a promise to each other, she will have free pictures for life as long as she saves her baby girl wardrobe for me just in case one day I get my wish and bring a female into this household. A girl can dream right?

The Perfect Christmas Shoot

Ok so talk about nervous. I have been seeing the same stylist since I taught her daughter years ago and at our last appointment she booked a session with me. She is meticulous with my hair and always does a great job, so I began to worry if I could return the favor. Her biggest concern was her younger daughter who runs away from the camera. Great I thought this is going to be a tough one. Well from the second the family stepped out of the car looking fabulous the littest one had a case of the giggles. This made us all get the giggles and the fun began. The sun was perfect and the weather cool, for once no mosquitos to join in the fun. I am pretty sure the perfect Christmas card photo was snapped, now they just have to decide which one to use. It was my pleasure doing this shoot for a dear family that is close to my heart.

Sweet Baby Hannah

I had the pleasure to spend my afternoon with this precious little three month old. Baby Hannah you stole my heart today and I really thought photographing babies would give me the fix I need to walk away and be happy with my crazy house of boys. No such luck after today! I can't wait to watch you grow and change. I hope to see her again in December for another big photo shoot, what a star. Aunt Ticker it was nice seeing you too, you are a wonderful Grammy.

Good Friends Great Moment Captured

When I moved to Texas seven years ago, I met Rhydonna at my first teaching job. We were two of the "kidless" teachers and loved it. We would have impromptu dinners at the last minute and joke around about people and how their lives were controlled by kids. I spent one year working with her and we have remained great friends as our lives have become filled with kids and we no longer laugh at moms because we are now very much them. We no longer have impromptu dinners, they are scheduled weeks in advance but we have stayed great friends. I love her and her family dearly. One great thing about being a photographer is when it comes time to capture a dear friends family on camera there is absolutely no concern of getting the kids to warm up to me or wondering what will happen if I don't get the exact pictures the person visioned in their head for weeks. Just fun we had so much fun laughing and running around capturing smiles and looking forward to a great meal afterward. Just so happens they are one great looking family and I think the pictures are fantastic. I especially love the one of Addison I think its one of my best shots yet. Time to find a contest to enter it in.
